Stephanie Wright
Editor

Stephanie Wright is a photography teacher, freelance writer and editor in Omaha, Nebraska.

After teaching photography at college for a number of years, Steph began teaching in the corrections field, where she encountered women who were struggling to find direction and purpose in their lives. Helping these women find their way was immensely satisfying work, which led Steph to seek professional certification as an Adult Educator. Now an Adult Ed instructor for a school district, Steph also mentors new teachers as a means of improving her profession. She finds professional success in watching many of her students progress from undereducated single moms to college graduates whose kids will succeed in school. Steph has also worked as a freelance writer and editor since college. The creation of marketing and business copy for nonprofits is an oddly creative outlet for Steph’s second professional love, writing. The common thread in all her work is helping people achieve their highest potential, which is what interested her in PINK Compass.
