Who Is  ?

Medora is fabulous! Seriously, Medora is actually 5 amazing women who were all named "Medora", the 1st of whom was born in 1849. I am the 5th generation Medora and the present day oracle of the wisdom and lessons about life, love and living passed down to me from the preceding, amazing 4 generations of Medoras. Medora's mission and purpose is to pass their knowledge and wisdom on to you as my predecessors did to me. It is the wisdom of the ages and I hope that by sharing, your life will be more enlightened and perhaps made just a little easier.

After consultation with the oldest living Medora, I was able to compile a list of adjectives which described the best qualities of each of the 5 Medoras. And, if you blended all those adjectives together, the result would be a delightful, full-bodied cocktail of a single, perfected persona of all 5; self-less, intelligent, just, charitable, faithful, trustworthy, creative, devoted, brilliant, entertaining, and hospitable best friend. This "cocktail" would be practically perfect in every way - another reason to read the newsletter. Why read or take bad advice? Isn't there enough of that going around? But perfection is intimidating, so, allow me to introduce you to me - the one you can learn from, relate, and have access to. Have I just described your new best friend/mentor? I hope so because that is who I want Medora to be to each of her readers.

O.Kayyyy... but what qualifications does this present day incarnation of Medora possess besides a pedigree of amazing women? Well, like many women today, your Medora is college educated - I even began working on my doctorate. However, one day I woke up and had an "ah ha!" moment. It was at that moment that I decided to leave academic pursuits behind and to enjoy the rebirth that had recently occurred in my life. Since then, I have experienced an unprecedented time of vigorous artistic and intellectual activity - a true renaissance. And, I want you - my readers - to benefit from this renaissance of mine, from my personal life experiences, insights and observations as well as from the wealth of information that has been passed down. There is one disclaimer I must make, however. I didn't and don't make "the rules" - I just observe and report the reality!
