Hey check out my new volleyball gear! I'm trying out for middle school and bought this stuff!?

okay so my coach was saying she likes girls who dress the part. And suggested knee pads volleyball shorts and stuff. I know absolutely nothing about volleyball other than you get the ball over the net sooo anyway.

This is what my 'volleyball outfit' consists of.

Hair tied back in a pony-tail, and bangs pinned back. Try to get a good gripped headband because metal clips and such are not allowed. No jewellery.

A medium sized tee-shirt ( by that i mean a tee-shirt that hits between your shoulder and elbow. and is not too tight, and isn't longer then your shorts! )

Black spandex shorts ( anything that you feel comfortable in is fine.)

Bubble knee pads ( mizuno's )

Since I tend to dive a lot, i wear knee-high socks, its also a way to incorporate fun patterns.

Good sneakers.

- - What I think is wrong with your choices, are that your knee pads look like they have a hard surface, they look like knee pads for rollerblading.

Try to get ones that are soft, you can go to any sporting store and ask where the -VOLLEYBALL- knee pads are.

(That is a good volleyball, I have a Wilson as well )

Your shorts ; they might show a little bit of your rear end when you jump , but as long as your either comfortable with that, or with the style then go ahead with those.

All of my coaches have considered not picking girls to be on the team just because of how they wear their hair.
Tie it up with a scrunchy and wear a headband, no bangs over your eyes.
